We hired Rachel for our engagement shoot and wedding, and cannot have picked a more talented and professional photographer! Rachel's style speaks to me as moody, rich in colour, raw and timeless, and I gravitated towards it immediately. We simply chose Rachel from looking around ourselves and reading reviews; we didn't find her from any recommendations, so sometimes this can be a risky thing, but everything worked out so well. Rachel consistently made us feel comfortable throughout all of the shoots, and knew exactly what she was doing to set up beautiful shots. We brought our labradoodle to both the engagement shoot and our wedding day, and Rachel was a natural working with the dog and us as a family. She has a relaxed demeanour about her which was so calming, especially for something so high stakes as our wedding day. It was calling for rain all week too and I didn't doubt for a second Rachel would still be able to work it out. It was not an easy day to shoot because of the wind, but she still told us exactly how to stand and what to do. She even had me make a Pinterest board beforehand with shots I'd like to capture, and believe it or not, but she made a list and made sure we got every kind of shot we were hoping for throughout the day. She knows how to work with what she's got, and for that we are so incredibly lucky! Thank you, Rachel!!!
